#2414 - c. late 1950's SCAASI Evening Dress with Original Matching Evening Coat! The ultimate evening outfit and great designer investment piece. Silk satin red floral dahlia print strapless evening dress. Comes with the original sweeping red silk satin opera coat with matching floral print lining!!! Awesome. The dress is fitted to the waist and the skirt has layers of tulle underneath to create an amazing modified balloon hemline. The coat certainly can be used alone, but that lining is not to be missed, so make sure you flash it! Back zipper. Coat is a bit oversized. Excellent condition! This exact dress and coat set was displayed at the FIT (Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City) Scaasi Exhibition in 2002).
