#7347 - c. 1883 3-piece Bustle Gown Visiting Toillette with Partial Additional Bodice!  Near Mint Condition!  Oh my goodness!  What a find!  Direct from the attic in Excellent condition!  A 2-piece bustle gown of velvet, silk and fringe deep deep eggplant (the colors are lightened so you can see detail), with matching fancy coat with silk fringed hemline, along with an additional matching silk bodice without sleeves.  4 pieces total with a small piece of additional material!  I don't know where to start to describe this complete outfit.  Really!  Just look at all the photos. Please remember, these photos are lightened.  The actual piece is a deep, dark eggplant that will look like a dark reddish brown under regular lighting.  Under bright lights, it lightens up!  Near mint condition!  I found one tear inside the sleeve of the coat, the inner lining dust ruffle on the skirt has a tear (inside only!!), and obviously the sleeves of the "vest" (likely was a 2nd bodice or evening bodice) are missing (with the extra material, you could create short cap sleeves). Measures:  Bodice: 35" bust, 12" back (so it fits like a 31" bust, 24" waist.  Skirt: 26" waist, 45" long from waist to hem in front, 57" long in back.  Vest:  31" bust, 25" waist. Coat: 34" bust, 28/29" waist.  The dress is shown over a bustle (not included).  This is one extraordinary outfit!  The coat is wearable by me (size 4/6) so if the gown doesn't fit, you can still wear this incredibly gorgeous coat.
