BLANCHETTE, Paris, New York Delightful Lampshade Shape Mocha
Brown Velvet Cloche with Shaded Ribbon Embroidery!
One of my personal
favorites! I call it my "pinwheel" hat. I keep expecting those
decorative ribbon embroidery pinwheels to start spinning! :)
This is one of the larger sized cloches, so it's a bit too large on
"her" as she has a smallish head with only wisps of hair, so it will
look better on you... more "clochy". The decorations are of
slightly metallic shaded ribbons, off-white braided silk floss,
brown chenille and silk wrapped ropes of rust, aqua-green, ecru and
mocha. The silk velvet is SOOOO soft. Great hat!
The only issue is wear of the silk at the lower edge ropes, but mostly only
seen underneath, inside and bit on the ecru. Exterior is nearly perfect! Measures:
22" inside circumference, 9.5" width and length. SOLD
