#6056 - c. 1922 Black Silk Crepe, Lace and Jet Beaded Flapper Dress! Good Size! No way to show the beauty of this dress from the photos... it's all in the design of the floral beading cascading down the front and back into a modified "v" pattern. Sashed at the lower waist with thin self belt strung through beaded hoops and culminating in a large beaded flower "buckle" at front.  The black lace covers the front skirt panel and needs to have a black slip under (none included)... or go wild and have a colored slip or silver lame slip even better!  (you see it with black now). Frankly I think silver lame would have been the original design, but what the heck do I know?  There is a black silk tassel hanging from one side. This is one of those "can't mistake it for anything other than a top designer piece from the era", but alas... no labels. Please look at the close-up photos of the beading. I'll wait for you.  La-la-la-la-la.  OK?  Now imagine it better in person. Measures:  up to 40" bust, up to 43" waist and hips, 49" long from shoulder to hem.  Excellent condition with extreme minor phantom beading transfer onto crepe (just the way it was stored over the years).  It's something most of you won't even notice unless inspecting.

SOLD - but on display in Museum Category for Research/Display
