#4969 - c. 2002
Fox Fur Trimmed Brown Thin  Cashmere Coat worn by
			CATHERINE ZETA-JONES
in her Oscar Winning - Best Supporting Actress Role
as Velma Kelly in the Oscar Winning Best Movie of the Year, "Chicago"!
			Designed by Colleen Atwood!
Purchased directly from the production company, this is THE
coat worn by Catherine Zeta-Jones in "Chicago" during her climatic
scene in the courtroom and on the stand.  I remember lusting
after this coat when watching the movie the first time!  I have
to let you know that this is a costume coat... not a heavy-weight
wool coat, but a brown thin cashmere coat in a 1920's style.
Beautifully designed with great seaming and top-stitching. Closes
with two large crochet buttons at front, and only a tie at the top.
Obviously it was designed to be worn as you see Catherine wearing
it... off the shoulder for dramatic effect.  The "v" shape at
the upper back is interesting as well.  Excellent condition. SOLD -
but on display in Museum Category for Research/Study
