#4764 - c. early 1920's Deco Electric Blue Beaded and Sequin Flapper Overdress! Likely Made in Paris or Belgium! Killer color!!  Bright electric blue will dazzle you and those around you!  Easy to wear style is the early 1920's overdress with the very open sides.  You will probably want to wear something under it (PLEASE!!).  All you need is a simple silk tube dress of the right length with ribbons for straps (don't even need closures.. just put of over the head).  Even I could make one, and I can't sew a button on!  Get creative! You can wear over white, nude, black.. whatever.  Basic dress is cotton blue netting... covered all over with sequins and beads.  Wonderful design all over, and even creates a circle decoration at the hip sides. Pointed scalloped hemline. Measures: 13" across bust flat (so up to 26" bust with very open sides!), 20" across waist flat (so you to 40"), 24" across hips flat (so up to 48" hips around the widest area, 51" long from shoulder to hem.  Shown on a size 6 mannequin and it looks great on her as well... so these measurements are only the Maximum... but will fit a variety of sizes! Excellent condition with only one small spot that looks like some sequins are missing, but it's hard to find in all that open designwork and one heel net repair (I dare you to find it!)!  Cotton netting base will hold up for another 100 years!

SOLD - but on display in Museum Category for Research/Display
