#4651 - c. 1950's CEIL CHAPMAN Ecru Satin Beaded Dress! Amazing!!!! Likely from the same collection as the other similar Ceil Chapman dress to the left! Probably one followed the other on the catwalk! :) This one is much sexier with the asymmetrical bodice and sarong look skirt... which gives the impression of wrapped around the body ... like a bath towel just waiting to "oops"... slip off!!!! Just held up by two skinny little spaghetti straps. However, this is just an illusion. The dress is a "faux" wrap, metal zipper up the back and I promise it won't fall off... sorry, men!!!! The beading is intense... all sorts of beads and rhinestones in a nearly lacey looking design. Measures: 36" bust, up to 27" waist, up to 37" hips, 43" long from shoulder to hem. Excellent condition except for underarm staining on lining only... and the back metal zipper is sticky, but works.
