#3507 - c. 1917 Evening Gown of Ivory and Platinum/Gold Metallic Brocade with Embroidered Net and Crystal Beading! High fashion for the times in a fabulous "Celtic" or "Medieval - King Arthur's Guenivere" look. When you look at the gown up close, you will get so utterly lost in the mix of fabrics and beading and metallic embroidered netting... you will forget what year it is now! Someone will have to wake you from your mind's time travel! Rich metallic brocade material edged in white iridescent bead trim. At the sides is ivory silk with overlay of metallic embroidered netting in double tiers with rolled hems. It's all just too hard to describe.. you will have to look at all the photos. The back of the gown is of watteau style, again evoking the medieval. Excellent condition. Measures: 34/35" bust, up to 30" waist, 36" long from waist to hem. Museum quality goods!!
